RoomYaar is designed for roommate and shared living listings. In shared homes, personal preferences about daily routines, food, language, guests, cleanliness, sleep schedules, and other compatibility factors may be relevant to choosing a person to live with.
This shared-living context has been recognized in fair-housing law, including the Roommates.com precedent. At the same time, RoomYaar prohibits unlawful discrimination in actual housing and expects users to follow all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
